My name is Amer, like America without -ica.
My name was indeed inspired by America, since being the first family member born in the USA!
I’m a sales and marketing professional with an endless curiosity for design, sustainability and tech. I have extensive experience in global business with past roles in account management, product development, supply chain, logistics and proficiency in CRM, ERP and design software. My career has spanned industries from design to hospitality with a continuous pursuit of creating effective customer-centric strategies.
Since the start of the pandemic, I began running for wellness which led to exploring new locales on foot. I recently embarked on my Amerathon journey, committed to completing a marathon each year in new places (Los Angeles 2020, Paris 2021, California International Marathon 2022, Kuala Lumpur 2023, Copenhagen 2024). I am currently planning and looking forward to a new challenge in 2026 to conquer my first Ultramarathon 50km.
